Daffodils

Maybe it's because I'm Welsh or maybe it's because they are such cheery flowers that I adored this stamp when I found it. Daffoldils is a lovely digi stamp From the heart designs and I used the i {heart} card sketch with a twist challenge #136 sketch as inspiration for the lay out. I love the combination of the blue and yellow and has really made me start to look forwards to some lovely spring days. Hope you like it!

I will be entering the card in the following challenges:

This weeks Christmas card

This weeks Christmas card is inspired again by the i {heart] card sketch with a twist and using their Gift Stack Teddy Bear Digi Stamp. Coloured using my spectrum noir and a little bit of spectrum sparkle clear pens on the hat to give a little sparkle.

Snowmen

I think one of my favourite themes for Christmas cards is snowmen and this stamp from From the heart designs is one of the cutest! I used the sketch from the weekly challenge for my inspiration for the layout and think it turned out quite cute. My only problem with it is the small about of 'bleed' caused when using the spectrum sparkle pen on the spotty scarf. Anyone else had this problem when using them?

I will be entering the card into i {heart} card sketch challenge and am absolutely thrilled that I was in the top 3 chosen by the design team last week. I haven't figured out how to add my badge yet though!

I think the challenge blogs that are out there (I'm sure I've only found a few of them) is a fabulous idea especially for people just starting out as it gives ideas and motivation to get crafting so thank you bloggers and keep up your great work.

More Christmas!

Sorry but I have another Christmas card to show you! I promise to make some different themes soon but I have recently found a few fabulous digi stamp pages and I want to colour them all.

The one I have to show you today is another super cute digi and sentiment from From the heart stamps called Mittens Snowman. I absolutely adore this stamp. The little Christmas tree is a freebie over at Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. Coloured using Spectrum Noir as usual and I've used the Spectrum sparkle clear pens to add a bit of a sparkle to it.

Hope you like it.

I have entered the card into the Moving Along With The Times Spots and Dots Chalenge
and the ABC Christmas Challenge

Welcome!

Hello and welcome!

Welcome to my blog! This is an extension from the website Bev's Crafty Times to post makes made from using my alcohol markers. It's a new passion of mine and any time I get free for completing orders I seem to spend colouring and creating cards. I made all my own Christmas cards for the first time at Christmas just gone and am now completely addicted!

I'm still new at this so be gentle with your comments!

The first card I'd like to share with you is a Christmas card I've already made for Christmas 2016! Yes I know but Christmas is my favourite time of the year!

Hope you like it!

The digi stamp is available to purchase here from the fabulous 'from the heart stamps' and I've entered it in their Stamp of the month challenge
